Current positions available:

Contract Overnight Office Administrator
Location: Alliston, Ontario

Health Systems Group (HSG) Limited www.healthsystemsgroup.com, a national provider of fitness and wellness services in Canada has an opening for a part-time overnight (8-16 hours/week) Office Administrator at a Fitness & Recreation Facility in Alliston, Ontario.  The Private Fitness Facility, managed by HSG, includes a large Fitness Centre, Arena, Tennis Court and Softball diamond.

To be considered for this role, a commitment to core values including integrity, respect, customer service and teamwork are essential.

Applicants who meet the following criteria and can demonstrate their skill and ability in the following areas should apply:

  • Greeting and signing in members and guests
  • Answering incoming calls, answering questions, and responding to member concerns
  • Booking ice rentals and fitness appointments
  • Managing membership files
  • Developing promotional materials for wellness programming
  • Tidying the fitness facility, ensuring that the equipment is clean and safe for use
  • Available for overnight shifts and weekends

Qualifications:

  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the fitness or administrative field
  • Diploma, certificate or equivalent in the fitness and/or wellness fields is preferred
  • Certificate in personal training or group exercise is preferred

Contract Overnight Facilities Operator
Location: Alliston, Ontario

Health Systems Group (HSG) Limited www.healthsystemsgroup.com, a national provider of Health Systems Group is currently seeking a part-time overnight (8-40 hrs/wk), overnight Facility Operator to fill a temporary contract position at a Fitness & Recreation Facility in Alliston, Ontario. Reporting to the General Manager, the Facility Operator will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the facility. Duties include arena operations, building maintenance, ice flooding, and basic maintenance and repair. The Private Fitness Facility, managed by HSG, includes a large Fitness Centre, Arena, Tennis Court and Softball diamond.

Applicants who meet the following criteria and can demonstrate their skill and ability in the following areas should apply:

  • Driving the Zamboni
  • Ice maintenance
  • Facility cleaning
  • Available for overnight shifts and weekends

Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

  • Secondary school diploma or suitable equivalent.
  • Previous training and/or practical experience in facility and arena maintenance.
  • Valid and unrestricted Ontario Class G driver’s license
  • Ontario Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician or post secondary education or accreditation in related facilities management.
  • Team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • Current CPR with First Aid
  • Ability to perform all duties of this physically active position including heavy lifting.

RMT
Location: Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre in Toronto, Ontario

Health Systems Group www.healthsystemsgroup.com, a national provider of professional consulting and management services in fitness and wellness, has an opening for a Registered Massage Therapist at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The Private Fitness Facility, managed by HSG, features a saltwater swimming pool, exercise studios, weight floor/weight room, and gymnasium. The facility serves over 3500 members.

To be considered for this role, a commitment to core values including integrity, respect, service and teamwork are essential.  Applicants who meet the following criteria and can demonstrate their skill and ability in the following areas should apply:

  • You must be a Registered Massage Therapist and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
  • Have an active license for a minimum of 1 year and liability insurance
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional treatment to Clients and an impeccable level of Customer Service
  • Excellent communication skills; including solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Additional certifications and work experience in personal training, physiotherapy, osteopath, chiropractic work or fascial stretch therapy would be a strong asset

We are seeking to hire a professional RMT who is available to work the following shifts:

  • Mondays 1:30pm-7pm
  • Fridays 10am-1pm
  • Saturday and Sundays 10am-1pm
